Back at the domestic level completing a tough week, Fenerbahce Beko went up 8-0 prevailing in the thrilling encounter opposite Turk Telekom Saturday. Fellow undefeated BSL team, Anadolu Efes will host HDI Sigorta Afyon Belediye Sunday.
Bahcesehir Koleji – Frutti Extra Bursaspor 101-71
Alex Perez heading to Fener posted a 21-point, 13-assist double-double for the win by a wide margin over shorthanded Bursaspor. Burak Can Yildizli and Josh Owens added 16 points each.
For the 9-man visitors, Kenneth Kadji put in 16 points.
Turk Telekom – Fenerbahce Beko 81-82
Lorenzo Brown banked in a team-high 16 points, including the go-ahead three with 25 seconds left. Jarell Eddie finished with 14 points.
The 20-point effort by Sam Dekker was the main highlight for the hosts in a heartbreaking defeat.
Tofas Bursa – Ormanspor 99 – 82
DeVaughn Akoon-Purcell scored 25 points and Sean Kilpatrick posted 17 points and five assists as Tofas Bursa put on some strong offense to down Ormanspor.
Elmedin Kikanovic (16 points) and Stanton Kidd (16 points, five rebounds) were Ormanspor’s top contributors.
Darussafaka Tekfen – Galatasaray 91 – 82
Grant Jerrett (29 points, 10 rebounds) and Andrew Andrews (26 points) couldn’t be denied by Galatasaray, leading Darussafaka to the win in a clash between two Basketball Champions League teams.
For Galatasaray, Daryl Macon had 18 points and Ronald Hunter dropped 15 points.
Aliaga Petkim Spor – Besiktas 82-72
Kendrick Ray led the way for Petkim Spor with 19 points while Ian Hummer added 17 and Stephen Zack 12 points.
On the other side, Alperen Sengun was on fire with 30 points as well as 13 rebounds while James Blackmon scored 18 points.
Anadolu Efes – Afyon Belediye 86-67
Efes continues its undefeated streak in BSL with the help of the unstoppable Vasilije Micic who added 15 points and five assists. Adrien Moerman and Tibor Pleiss tapped 14 points each and Yigitcan Saybir had 10 points.
Belediye’s Paul Leissner posted a game-high of 19 points, Jonathan Macura registered 17 points and 8 rebounds and Akif Guven added 10 points and 7 rebounds.
