The Lietuvos Rytas fan that pushed Zalgiris Kaunas guard Vasilije Micic from behind in Game 2 of the Lithuanian League Finals was sanctioned with a 15-month ban not only from basketball courts but from every sports event held in public places, per 15Min.lt.

The incident occurred early in the fourth period. After a drive attempt, Micic was fouled and found himself out of bounds and face-to-face with Rytas fans that began shouting at him. One of them that wasn’t at his sat, actually chest-bumped Micic from behind.

What was even more strange was the fact the fan remained in the arena for the remainder of the game, something that was criticized by Zalgiris GM Paulius Motiejunas.

Apart from the 15-month ban, the fan was also fined 85 euros for his behavior.
