The Israeli Winner Cup quarterfinal games (Maccabi Tel Aviv – Hapoel Haifa and Hapoel Holon – Hapoel Gilboa Galil) that were scheduled for Saturday (26/9) have been postponed to a later date, the league announced.

Thursday’s matches (Maccabi Rishon – Maccabi Haifa and Hapoel Jerusalem – Hapoel Eilat) will be played as planned.

The Israeli government will be shutting down every domestic sports competition starting from Friday, per Sports Rabbi. Hapoel Jerusalem will be traveling to Athens, Greece for the upcoming Basketball Champions League Final Eight (1/10 – 4-10).

Next week, Maccabi Tel Aviv will begin its EuroLeague season by hosting Alba Berlin on October 1st.
