Thirty-two European players were in action during NBA’s busy nine-game schedule on Wednesday evening.

James Harden was all around the place and finished with 57 points, but the Houston Rockets lost to the Memphis Grizzlies, 126-125, in overtime. Jonas Valanciunas was the difference-maker for the hosts with his game-winning free throw and ended up with a career-high 33 points, also took down 15 boards.

Lauri Markkanen was clutch on Wednesday as well. The Finnisher went off for 32 points and 13 rebounds and the Chicago Bulls defeated the Washington Wizards, 126-120, in overtime. He nailed five shots beyond the arc including a key effort in the extra period.

Luka Doncic scored 24 points, but didn’t prevent the Dallas Mavericks from losing to the Portland Trail Blazers, 126-118. His teammate Kostas Antetokounmpo made his NBA debut. Enes Kanter and Jusuf Nurkic posted a double-double for the winning side.

Europeans were on hand for the Orlando Magic in their 119-96 home win against the New Orleans Pelicans. Evan Fournier poured 22 points and Nikola Vucevic added a 15-point, 17-rebound double-double.

The Miami Heat snapped the San Antonio Spurs’s nine-game winning streak behind Goran Dragic’s game-high 22 points. Marco Belinelli scored 17 points for the hosts at the AT&T Center.

Mario Hezonja put up 23 points, but the New York Knicks fell victims to the visiting Utah Jazz, 137-116. Rudy Gobert posted 18 points and Ricky Rubio added 12 for the winning side.
