Dolomiti Energia Trento took down Umana Reyer Venezia 84-76 in the Game 4 of the Italian Legabasket semifinals.

With this result, Trento clinched the series with 3-1 wins and booked the tickets for the finals where they will meet AX Armani Exchange Olimpia Milano. This will be the second straight trip to the finals for Maurizio Buscaglia’s team as they were the runner-ups last year against eventual champs Venezia.

The hosts had five players scoring in the double-digits with Shavon Shields and Dustin Hogue leading them with 17 points each. Andres Forray also stepped up with 16 points and 6 assists.

It was a bumpy ride for Trento in Game 4 as the teams exchanged the lead several times during. Trento won the first quarter (25-20), but the visitors replied instantly in the second quarter with their great defense (21-11).

However, the hosts found their rhythm again and dominated the second half. Dominique Johnson had 17 points for the last year’s champions, but that wasn’t enough to save them this year.
