The Greek Federation announced that all national leagues are suspended until further notice due to coronavirus concerns.

All the minor leagues are organized by the Greek Federation while the First Division championship is held by ESAKE (Union of Greek Basketball Teams).

Initially, the Federation had ruled that all the games will be held behind closed doors. The decision was changed due to “the developments on the matter of public health in combination with the “continuously increasing decisions by local institutions to close courts and gyms.”

The Greek League games initially were scheduled to be played behind closed doors for the next two weeks following a decision by the Greek Ministry of Health on the matter, however on Friday it was announced that this week’s games are postponed.
