FIBA announced that the federation honorary president Horacio Muratore is the new president of the International Basketball Foundation.

Horacio Muratore, newly named FIBA Honorary President, after presiding over FIBA from 2014 to 2019, has been appointed the new President of FIBA’s Foundation, the International Basketball Foundation (IBF).

The IBF is the social, educational and legacy arm of FIBA that addresses the role of sports and particularly basketball in society, preserving and promoting basketball’s values and its cultural heritage.
