The Spanish Basketball Federation highlights its concern regarding the proximity of the next international commitments of the National Team and the lack of alternatives on the part of the NT players.

With an announcement, the Federation states:

“The current Euroleague schedule is seriously detrimental to the call of players during the windows set by FIBA for November, seriously jeopardizing Spain’s participation in the 2019 World Cup and, as a consequence of this, its absence in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.”

Earlier in the day, EuroLeague gave its answer to FIBA’s latest proposal.
