Fortitudo Bologna announced that the team has added the 31-year-old American center Dario Hunt to the roster.
Hunter started the season with Virtus Roma – which pulled out of the Italian Top Division – and averaged 11.6 points and 5.4 rebounds over seven games.
He played in Italy multiple times, as well as in Ukraine, Belgium, France, and Australia over the course of his career. He was named All-Star in three different leagues.
Bologna recently made a coaching change, bringing in Luca Dalmont to the bench as the new staff tries to help Fortitudo bounce back from a slow start.
The team is 0-2 in the Basketball Champions League Group F and holds a 2-7 record in the Italian League.
