Fenerbahce got the win over Khimki, Obradovic was honored before the game, which was his 200th EuroLeague contest with the team and the fans were asking for a new contract between him and the club.

The mood was celebratory, and when Obradovic was asked if he expected that he would have such a success in Istanbul, he said the following: “How can I think of such a success? I think I can only be focused on the game. I wasn’t thinking of achieving that. I didn’t think how long I’d be on the bench. My goal is always the next match. And we could not say that 200 those matches were just about Obradovic. It was the 200th match of all the staff, players, the front office and the fans”.

The total record of Obradovic in all competitions with Fenerbahce it’s a stunning 139-61.

However, not everything is perfect right now with the team, which has a modest 4-7 record and a lot of ground to cover to get to the playoffs. “You should ask the medical team about Nando De Colo and Jan Vesely, not me. They tell you everything in detail”, said Obradovic when asked about the health issues of Nando De Colo and Jan Vesely, who both missed the game against Khimki.
