Anadolu Efes has been working on keeping most of their past season roster together and it seems they are on the right track to accomplish that. However, their best player in Shane Larkin might be the one that leaves.

Efes GM Alper Yilmaz was a guest on Turkish NTV and noted that although Larkin is happy with the club, his primary goal is to go back to the US:

“Larkin’s situation is different. He wants to go to the NBA. Since he is an American and his father is an important baseball figure, he told us that his priority is to go to the NBA. Boston fans sent him “come back” messages. I know he is happy here. He had a great season here. I know winning a championship is important for him and his career. The most important thing that I know is that he has unfinished business with EuroLeague. I think his situation won’t be resolved until the end of July but I hope he stays in Europe and wears our jersey.”

Yilmaz also noted that Tibor Pleiss and James Anderson have contract options until June 30 and that they are waiting for coach Ergin Ataman’s decision.
