Lorenzo Brown is in advanced talks with Panathinaikos OPAP to sign a deal with the Greek powerhouse, according to Eurohoops sources.

After a solid debut Turkish Airlines EuroLeague season with Crvena Zvezda mts, the NC State alumni is on his way to Greece with the deal possibly being closed soon.

Brown, 29, averaged 12.3 points, 4.6 assists, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.1 steals per EuroLeague contest up to the decision to pause the 2019-20 season, due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Him joining the Greens as the starting point guard will lift Langston Hall into frontrunner status in terms of a complementing backcourt addition, per Eurohoops sources.

The former Mercer standout is coming off his debut 7DAYS EuroCup season, and his second overall with Promitheas. He put up 11.4 points, 5.7 assists, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.0 steals per EuroCup appearance.
