Sunday’s (29/11) 2022 EuroBasket Qualifiers were completed with the first three non-host national teams booking their tickets for the tournament: Bosnia, Croatia and Greece.
Croatia made the beginning by beating Sweden 87 – 72 to close November’s Window with two wins. Pavle Marinkovic led the efforts of the Croatian team with 20 points and eight rebounds while Denzel Andersonn had 22 points plus eight boards for the losing side.
In the other Group D game held Sunday, Shane Larkin brought points (23) and assists (nine) on the table thanks to which Turkey grabbed its first win by downing The Netherlands.

Greece and Bosnia helped each other since they both needed to defeat their opponents and the other team to also win in order to qualify. It was Giannis Athinaiou who bombarded 3-pointers (6-9) and finished with 21 points as Greece edged Bulgaria 84 – 78 in overtime to, eventually, finish the night with a place in the EuroBasket.
Some hours later, Kenan Kamenjas (19 points, five rebounds) and Edin Atic (19 points, seven rebounds) combined their strength to push Bosnia past Latvia 79 – 73 and straight among the EuroBasket teams while checking Greece’s spot as well.

After stunning hosts Lithuania, Denmark doubled its November wins by downing the Czech Republic behind a scoring show of 38 points courtesy of Gabriel Iffe Lundberg.
As for Lithuania, Eimantas Bendzius (19 points) helped them bounce back by beating Belgium 84 – 71.
Group C Standings per FIBA:
Montenegro could’ve advanced to the EuroBasket with a win over Great Britain and a France victory over Germany. Enter Gabe Olaseni who produced 28 points and eight rebounds as the British team shut down Montenegro 74 – 59.
In the other Group G game, Yakuba Ouattara had 24 points as France beat Germany 85 – 74.
